The first series gives detailed information pertaining to the Nuremberg Trials. It entails official records, document translations to be submitted to the Tribunal, and other pertinent information including special reports pertaining to Grand Admiral Karl Doenitz. This information was all made available to Bracken when he served as a U.S. Naval Liaison to U.S. Chief of Prosecution, Justice Robert Jackson. In the second series, Bracken is serving as ship's secretary on USS Marblehead. As a result he was able to provide a wide range of information on the activities of Marblehead and the Asiatic Fleet during World War II. Captain Bracken's papers included excerpts from the official log and the quartermaster's log, damage reports and photos, action reports and other miscellaneous items of interest.
